If you stay with MGM in Vegas, you should be able to earn comps on your existing account. They do have a nightclub, some bars and a spa - but I have never used them. They are open 24/7, but no booze from 2 am to 7 am. Smoking is allowed (there is a small no-smoking slot area). You might get a B-rate show, but they don't have daily shows or mega concerts like Vegas (those end up at Comerica/ Ford Field/Joe Louis/Palace). ( Greektown casino has the only full pay VP that I know of in the area). ![]() You will see the same Wheel of Fortune slots you see at any other casino - and they are very likely tight - video poker odds are bad. Table minimums are $10+, higher at busy times - so not great for a low roller like me. A bottle of beer will run you $5 with tip. ![]() Drinks are not free - and are actually quite expensive. It is off on its own, so you can't step out the door into other entertainment options. ![]() It is typical of any stand alone casino in the US - and I have covered every casino in MI with casino runs to Vegas (12+ trips), WA, OR, CO, SD, IL, IN, LA. It is not a bad casino, but does not have everything that the rest of Vegas has to offer.
